Sandbox has always been known for it's classic styling and the Icon bring a new take on the previous Legend range with some updated venting. This Undercover Venting combines both a slim and stylish front vent with goggle compatible venting under the helmets front. These two sets of vents link up to internal channels in the helmet which draw air through the helmets shell and out of two vents at the back. This allows the vents to stay low profile and keep the Classic shape whilst ensuring you stay comfortable and fog free whilst on the mountain!
This helmet has the additional technology provided by a MIPS safety system, which helps to reduce rotation of the head during impact. The MIPS Brain Protection System is a helmet-integrated, low-friction layer design and is tested by engineers and scientists to create a motion between the head and the helmet on angled impacts.
The Icon comes with removable ear pads and liner allowing you to easily wear the helmet with a beanie or without any ear pads for summer sessions. A Big Goggle Bumper creates the perfect fit for goggles of all shapes and styles and guarantees performance and comfort on all terrain.
