Absolutely! While the Supermatic is designed for automatic entry, you still have the option to use the ratchets like a traditional two-strap binding. For 25/26, the Nidecker Supermatic OG is essentially the same as the previous season’s Supermatic but with one key upgrade: the new LSR2 ratchet, which improves ease of use by eliminating the need to lock the straps down in the same way. Everything else, including the automatic entry system and overall performance, remains unchanged.

No, you can’t rotate the highback on the Nidecker Supermatic bindings. However, most riders won’t need to, as the automatic entry system is designed for optimal performance straight out of the box.

If rotating your highback is essential to your riding style, you might prefer a traditional two-strap binding that allows for that level of customisation.

That said, the highback angle is still adjustable using the forward lean adjuster, so you can fine-tune your stance for better response and comfort.

The Nidecker Supermatic bindings are fully automatic step-in bindings, meaning you simply push your foot in and step down to lock in—no need to use your hands at all.
